It is always my pleasure to work with and for great people. A sad but hopeful recent site I worked on was for the Fisher family. All the sons and family members pooled together funds, articles, pictures and life stories for a biography website featuring Mr. Douglas Fisher’s life.
Being booked year round leaves little time to update the projects sections of the site. Here’s a quick post to demonstrate what been worked on over the past few months. It’s been a great busy year and appreciate and thank all the folks who bring their business my way.
One of my good friends and former co-workers is a key code monkey for Visible Measures and certain he is glad to see their company being talked about on Tech Crunch.
They seemed to have closed a $10 million series C round of funding, led by Northgate Capital which hopefully means more work will be coming my way. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. All kidding aside, it’s no surprise to me as their product is quite amazing and know @1G33K and his team work very long hours and are extremely dedicated to their app.
I’d like to thank everyone who’s made this year another very busy, successful one over at Reconfigure. Wishing everyone a pleasent and safe holiday season.
Reconfigure has recently finished a total redesign of Tomoye’s website which can be viewed at http://www.tomoye.com/. Congratulations to them and my old colleagues on the development team on their recent launch of Tomoye Ecco 2.0. Tomoye Ecco is a community software package built for large scale enterprise organizations.
Wheels are rolling for our clients, which means the reconfigure.ca site does not get much love. While I work on updating the projects section of this site, here is a list of our latest.
Seems like my former manager, client, former manager have started up a blog over at http://www.startupottawa.com/. Needless to say it’s a blog about for the startup/tech scene in Ottawa, Canada. Some interesting posts here, I just may have to subscribe to their news feeds.
Janine is the mastermind behind Uppercase, a Calgary art gallery and purveyor of fine books and paper goods. Her design practice, Vangool Design & Typography, focuses on arts and culture clients and book design. I’ll be working on getting her Shopify store up and running in the coming weeks which will contain works of art, books and other miscellaneous goodies.
Some works of particular greatness at Vangool Design seems to be the Shatner Show which I would have loved to go checkout. I’d like the Shatner lego head please!
Been receiving allot of praise for the theme created for Adam over at http://www.peridotlovers.com/. Always nice to hear! I will hopefully be working with Adam on some other projects which are in the talks. Thanks to Adam and all who have gave compliments the site. Don’t forget to head over there to get your peridots. If you sign up to his newsletter, you have a chance to win one for free. He gives one away per month!
David and the crew over at http://www.vanillasoft.com/ have finalized their content and officially launched the brand spanking new website we’ve been working on over the past few months. David and his team were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with them on our next project which will be updating the look of their lead management web application. Congrats to them on their new site.
The magnificent folks over at Jaded Pixel recently celebrated their 1 year anniversary of the Shopify launch. Working with the many Shopify shop owners on their stores is one of the most pleasant types of projects I get to do. I congratulate them and thank them kindly for all the business they send my way.
I’ve been working closely with the kind folks over at Vanillasoft who specialize in sales force automation software. We’re working on a smokin’ hot new look for their website as well as their application. I’ll post a note when things go live.
If you’re in the area of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky and looking for a new car, be sure to checkout Tom Bannen Chevrolet who I’ve recently helped setup this mini site. I received this project thanks to Kelleigh Carlyle Bannen at Divatoday.com. Thank you :)
I recently received an invitation from Alex Munter to a thank you party for helping with the campaign. I think he is a truly unique and genuine politician as opposed to the popular belief that all politicians are not.
I will always remember when he lost the campaign, and after he did his thank you speech, exiting the building he spotted me in a barrage of cameras and lights and stopped to thank me so much for my hard work on the website and how much he loved it. He even sent me a Christmas card… Good guy and I thank him for the opportunity to help with his campaign.
