Tuesday, 22 September 2009, 11:37

It is always my pleasure to work with and for great people. A sad but hopeful recent site I worked on was for the Fisher family. All the sons and family members pooled together funds, articles, pictures and life stories for a biography website featuring Mr. Douglas Fisher’s life.

Visible Measures featured on techcrunch

Thursday, 26 March 2009, 9:48

One of my good friends and former co-workers is a key code monkey for Visible Measures and certain he is glad to see their company being talked about on Tech Crunch.

They seemed to have closed a $10 million series C round of funding, led by Northgate Capital which hopefully means more work will be coming my way. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. All kidding aside, it’s no surprise to me as their product is quite amazing and know @1G33K and his team work very long hours and are extremely dedicated to their app.

Congrats!

Wishing everyone a happy new year.

Vangool Design Shopify store in the works

Monday, 24 September 2007, 15:22

Janine is the mastermind behind Uppercase, a Calgary art gallery and purveyor of fine books and paper goods. Her design practice, Vangool Design & Typography, focuses on arts and culture clients and book design. I’ll be working on getting her Shopify store up and running in the coming weeks which will contain works of art, books and other miscellaneous goodies.

Some works of particular greatness at Vangool Design seems to be the Shatner Show which I would have loved to go checkout. I’d like the Shatner lego head please!

Alex Munter

Tuesday, 16 January 2007, 13:10

I recently received an invitation from Alex Munter to a thank you party for helping with the campaign. I think he is a truly unique and genuine politician as opposed to the popular belief that all politicians are not.

I will always remember when he lost the campaign, and after he did his thank you speech, exiting the building he spotted me in a barrage of cameras and lights and stopped to thank me so much for my hard work on the website and how much he loved it. He even sent me a Christmas card… Good guy and I thank him for the opportunity to help with his campaign.
